The room before the real thing
Practise in an exam room,before the real exam
Most people walk into their PTE test having never sat in a room like it. The headset feels strange, the person beside you is talking, the timer is running — and that's before the first question.
So we built one. Our exam room is set up to the same standard as a Pearson test centre: individual workstations, proper headsets, the same layout and the same conditions. You sit a full-length mock in it, under exam conditions, before you sit the real thing.

What changes whenyou’re in the room
Online works. Most of our students get their scores from home, and Rapid Boost is built for exactly that.
But some people learn differently. They need someone standing beside them when the answer comes out wrong. In the room, you don't watch a technique and go home to try it — you try it there, with your own laptop, while the coach is listening. If your intonation is flat, you hear about it in that moment. If your essay structure is drifting, we catch it on the screen in front of you.

Sit a full mock,even if you’re new to us
You don't have to be our student to use the exam room. Book a simulation day, come in on a weekday, and sit a full-length test under real conditions — individual workstation, proper headset, timed, with other candidates speaking around you.
You'll also get our exam preparation session, and afterwards your results explained properly: what your score actually means, which tasks cost you marks, and what to do about it before the real thing.

Our practice-platform test is included. An official Pearson scored practice test can be arranged at an additional cost, charged at Pearson’s rate. Simulation days run on weekdays; message us to find a slot.

Where exactly is the centre?
274 1/1, High Level Road, Nawinna, Maharagama — on the main High Level Road, a few minutes from Maharagama town. Parking is available.
Can I visit before enrolling?
Yes — just walk in during opening hours. No appointment needed. Come and see the exam room and ask us anything.
Do I have to attend in person to study with you?
Not at all. Most of our students study online through Rapid Boost and never visit. The centre is for people who prefer learning in a room, or who want to sit a mock under real conditions.
Can I sit a mock test if I'm not your student?
Yes. Exam simulation days run on weekdays and are open to anyone — LKR 12,500, including our exam preparation session, your score report analysis and booking support. If you're already studying with us it's LKR 9,500.
Which test do I sit on a simulation day?
Your choice. Our own practice platform test is included in the fee. If you'd rather sit the official Pearson scored practice test, we can arrange that at additional cost.
What do I need to bring to class?
A laptop and a headset. You'll be practising in class, so you need your own device.
Is the centre only for PTE?
The centre is run by Mentobeam and hosts our PTE classes. Other programmes will run from here in time.
